The Bird 4431 RF SamplingWattmeter is the same as the Bird Model 43 Thruline Wattmeterexcept for an RF signal sampler probe. This RF probe provides a lowpower sample of the signal being measured and is available at afemale BNC connector on the right side of the housing. The signallevel can be adjusted with a control knob on the front of themeter. The sampled output can be connected to any RF signalmonitoring device such as a frequency counter, spectrum analyzer,or oscilloscope.
